Symptoms
As first symptom of Zn deficiency, plants show chlorosis appearing on the larger leaves near the center of the plant. Small yellow or whitish spots can develop on the upper side of the leaves. As the spots enlarge irregularly, the entire intercostal area becomes dry and necrotic.
Growth of the plant is severely stunted.

Zinc deficiency (right)
Sugar Beet: 1 l/ha at 4 to 6 leaf stage. For moderate to severe deficiency, repeat at 10 to 14 day intervals. Water rate: 200 l/ha.
