YaraLiva TROPICOTE (15.5% N + 26.3% CaO) is a high quality calcium nitrate product for field application. It is a dense granular fertiliser that spreads accurately up to 24 metres by machine or accurately when placed by hand.

It is a free-flowing material with 90% of articles 2-4mm. Its hygroscopic nature means that it readily dissolves when on contact with the soil in humid conditions or a night dew This formulation offers a low risk of scorch and is often used as a final topdressing to a wide range of high-value crops. Yara fertiliser bags now contain a minimum of 30% recycled plastic
Nursery Stock / Ornamentals

Nursery stock/ornamentals: First Year 323 kg/ha as top dressing. Second year onwards 645 kg/ha as top dressing

Pears

Pears: 250 kg/ha applied early spring prior to bud burst followed by 100-150 kg/ha top up at early fruitlet stage. 100-350 kg/ha autumn application post harvest, depending on variety.

Cucumber

Cucumber (field grown): Apply 400 to 600 kg/ha in the base dressing or broadcast.

Celery

Celery: Apply 400 to 600 kg/ha in the base dressing or broadcast

Nuts (Deciduous)

Nuts (deciduous): Apply 150-300kg/ha prior to bud burst early spring. To be applied as a band spread not as an overall broadcast. Exact recommendation depends on soil analysis and variety requirements. Refer to Yara fruit specialist for a detailed recommendation.
