Symptoms
The K deficient plant shows severely reduced growth in height and leaf size. Leaves are bent down, look flaccid and wilted, while their colour remains dark green.
Normally K deficient leaf blades show marginal and interveinal chlorosis with subsequent necrotic patches on older leaves.
Causes
Potassium deficiency (right)
Symptoms
Leaf blades show marginal and interveinal chlorosis with subsequent necrotic patches. Later on, these patches coalesce and the leaf becomes scorched.
Causes
Potassium deficiency
Symptoms
Mature leaves show marginal and interveinal chlorosis occasionally spreading over the entire leaf blade. Small, sunken, sometimes whitish spots occur. Necrotic margins and patches develop. Later on, these patches coalesce and the leaf becomes completely scorched.
